Meet the Captain!

I'm currently a sophomore at HPU studying Strategic Communications with a triple minor in Non-Profit Leadership, Marketing and Religion. Ideally, I hope to work for a non-profit out of the country and get the chance to see the world. At HPU,  I am part of the Habitat for Humanity Club, Diversity Club and an active sister in the sorority Alpha Gamma Delta, Gamma Eta chapter.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to travel to so many countries this coming semester.  I love to travel, and am so excited to have the chance to visit so many countries. I have been to Canada, Mexico, Bahamas, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Haiti, England, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Israel and Egypt. I hope to one day visit all 50 states, and make it to all 7 continents (Antarctica is pending... )

While on the ship, I will be taking classes including Anthropology, Religions around the World, Mass Communications and Human Behavior, and Consumer Behavior. Classes take place on the days the ship is sailing to a new port, and stop when we are in each country, giving us the chance to stay off the boat and explore. They start up again the day we get back on the boat.

I am from Rockville, Maryland and live with my awesome and supportive parents Ron and Holly. I have an amazing older sister, Christine, who is married and living in Savannah, Georgia with her husband Ross (who is stationed in Afghanistan until May). I also have an English Cocker Spaniel named Buddy.

Thanks so much for checking out my blog! I'll keep you posted on things happening around the ship and on shore!

XO,
Sara
